Marie the Monkey is a children's book designed to introduce autism to kids in a way they can understand. Marie is modeled after my non-verbal, autistic niece. The stories told are based on real-life events that my sister, the author, has experienced while raising a young girl on the spectrum. The book is still in progress. Currently, you can view the completed pages and some of the expansion of the characters onto other formats.
